Christine Loose

Vice President of Lodging and Wellness – Kohler Co.

Christine Loose is the Vice President of Lodging and Wellness for Kohler Co. In this role, she manages hospitality operations and growth for The American Club and the Inn on Woodlake hotels in Kohler, Wis., Riverbend private membership in Kohler, Wis., Lodge Kohler in Green Bay, Wis., and the Old Course Hotel in St Andrews, Scotland, as well as overseeing the growing wellness portfolio.

Before joining the Kohler Hospitality & Real Estate Group, Christine led Kohler Co. Customer Service and CRM department. As manager of that department, she was responsible for more than 1 million customer interactions per year. Christine identified efficiencies, improved department performance and proved herself an effective leader.

She joined the Kohler hospitality group in 2009 as Resident Manager for The American Club. Her analytical mind combined with a strong desire to serve made her uniquely suited to hospitality leadership, and management of the Inn on Woodlake was quickly added to her responsibilities.

Before taking on the role of Group Director of Lodging, Christine served as Director of Hotels. During her time in that role, The American Club earned its Forbes Five-Star rating and maintained the AAA Five-Diamond status. Also during that time, Christine worked closely with Executive Chairman Herbert V. Kohler to design the AAA Four-Diamond Lodge Kohler in Green Bay, Wisconsin that opened in July 2017.

Her Own the Now style of management led Kohler’s hospitality business to record performance levels. Christine personally trains associates on the Own the Now mission, which empowers her team to address guest needs in the moment, to recover from a complaint, then surprise and delight the guest.

She credits her success to always staying on the learning curve and not being afraid to take career risks. She has grown a team of leaders by recognizing the potential of associates and helping them grow in their careers.

Christine holds a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from St. Norbert College and a MBA from Keller Graduate School of Management. She completed the General Managers Program, Hotel Revenue Management Program and Food & Beverage Management Program at Cornell University. She serves on the Sheboygan County Chamber Board of Directors.

Betsy Froelich

Director of Marketing – Kohler Hospitality & Real Estate

Betsy is the Director of Marketing for Kohler’s Hospitality & Real Estate group where she is responsible for all strategic marketing initiatives while also managing the unique distinction of each brand like The American Club, Kohler Waters Spa, Whistling Straits and The Old Course Hotel to name a few.

She joined Kohler Hospitality in October of 2020 after over 12 years with Kohler’s Kitchen & Bath teams in a variety of marketing roles.  While there she led national marketing campaigns, organized involvement at international tradeshows like the Consumer Electronics Show and the Kitchen & Bath Industry Show and managed countless research and development opportunities.

Betsy holds an undergraduate degree from Marquette University as well as her MBA from University of Wisconsin – Oshkosh.

Ruben Cambero Sedano

General Manager – The American Club

Ruben entered the hospitality industry at a young age working for his parents at their family-owned property in Navarra, Spain for 12 years.  Here he mastered every job in the hotel and eventually took over as General Manager prior to moving to the United States in 2014.

Most recently Ruben was at MacArthur Place Hotel and Spa in Sonoma, CA as the General Manager prior to joining Kohler in February of this year. 

Ruben earned a BA in Business Administration from Universidad Europea de Madrid as well as attended Uppsala University in Sweden.  In addition to his BA he holds a Master Certification in Revenue Management from Cornell University.

Justin Gephart

Director of Sales and Conference Services – Destination Kohler

Justin, who has a master’s degree in business administration from Marquette University and a degree in economics & finance from the University of Wisconsin–La Crosse, joined Kohler Co. in 2004 as an accountant. He spent seven years in various capacities including cost accounting, financial planning and analysis, mergers and acquisitions in Kohler Engines, Corporate Planning and the Interiors Group.

Justin transitioned into hospitality in 2011 as a Senior Sales Executive and has led the team since January of 2013.

Originally from Eagan, Minnesota, Justin and his wife have three daughters, and enjoy a wide variety of sporting activities together, especially golf.

Frank D’Amato

Director of National Accounts – Destination Kohler

Frank, who joined Kohler Co. in 2007, is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin–Stout. Frank’s passion and determination has led to his promotions from Sales Manager to his current position as Director of National Accounts. His accounts include metro Milwaukee, the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic markets.

Born and raised in the Milwaukee metro area by his 100-percent Sicilian-born Italian immigrant parents, Frank has been married for seven years and has two step-daughters. He loves to travel to play golf, dining with his wife and enjoying company with family and friends.

Jonalee DeNoble

Associate Director of Conference Services – Destination Kohler

A native of Iowa and graduate of Morningside College, Jonalee earned a bachelor’s degree in corporate communication and advertising. Prior to joining Kohler she spent several years in event planning and banquet management at a variety of venues as well as with the United Way in Iowa.

She joined the Kohler Family in 2017 and currently leads the Meeting and Events department as well as the Kohler Floral and Design team for Destination Kohler. She motivates and inspires her team as they create unforgettable experiences, from weddings and galas to corporate conferences. Jonalee thoroughly enjoys being an agent of positive change, innovating/challenging the status quo and problem solving with her teams.

When she’s not creating party masterpieces, you may find her hiking or traveling with her husband and daughter.

Jenna Check

Associate Director of Special Events & Leisure Sales – Destination Kohler

Born and raised just north of Kohler in Manitowoc, WI, Jenna has been with the company for 15 years.  She has spent all this time in the events and sales space.  Initially working for Destination Kohler as a Conference Services Manager and also a Wedding Sales Manger before leading the Conference Services and Floral Teams.  After her time in events, she moved on to Corporate Sales, where she was responsible for the Chicago, Florida, and Georgia. 

Jenna has been in her current position since the beginning of 2016 where she manages alongside her team annual events like Kohler Food & Wine, In Celebration of Chocolate and more.  Additionally, Jenna is responsible for the relationships with third party leisure sales partners. 

Jenna holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Master of Science in Management, both from University of Wisconsin – Green Bay.

Angela Miller

Associate Manager, Archives & Heritage Communications – Kohler Company

Angela, who has a master’s degree in history from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee, and degrees in history and humanities from the University of Wisconsin–Green Bay, joined Kohler Co. as its first full-time historian in 2004.

Angela is driven to explore the company’s deep history and uncover new insights, lessons, stories and characters that have shaped Kohler Co., the Village of Kohler and beyond. Her passion for history has resulted in ongoing growth and recognition for KOHLER Archives, elevating awareness for the collection and encouraging collaboration between the Archives and other departments like New Product Development.

From Oostburg, Wisconsin, Angela and her husband have two sons. Together, they enjoy playing and watching sports, especially golf, and traveling
