Andreas Augustin is the President and founder of The Most Famous Hotels in the World. He became the publisher of a monthly culture and lifestyle magazine and a columnist for Austria’s largest daily newspaper. He is a regular contributor to various international hospitality newsletters.
In 1986, Andreas launched his first book, and since then, he has published 2-3 books each year, authoring over 70 books on legendary hotels. His research has led to significant discoveries, including the original architectural drawings of Singapore’s Raffles Hotel, the long-lost opening date of Hanoi's Hotel Metropole, the secret documents of the César Ritz scandal at the Savoy London, and the elimination of false legends surrounding the opening of the Imperial Hotel in Vienna.
Known for his engaging keynote speeches, Andreas blends history with the art of hospitality, revealing how myths and realities shape a hotel’s legacy.
