Joy Rothschild, a 42-year associate who started in Omni's Management Development Program and has been leading Omni Hotel & Resorts’ HR function since 1998. She was appointed Chief Human Resources Officer in 2013. Rothschild is a dynamic and accomplished human resources executive that has championed many Omni initiatives that directly impact profitability, customer retention, and employee satisfaction.

Rothchild is known for developing talent and is the “cultural evangelist” for Omni’s 14,000 plus associates. She developed the core values that company associates use and reference daily. Rothschild received Omni Hotels & Resorts’ President’s Award for developing the Omni Service Champion employee recognition program and the Power of One employee empowerment program. She is also a Hotel Sales & Marketing Association International (HSMAI) GoldenBell winner.

Rothschild launched and continues to champion Omni Circle, a charitable foundation that provides financial assistance to Omni associates whose lives have been affected by natural disasters, accidents, and other emergencies. Since its inception in 2005 during Hurricane Katrina, the Omni Circle has given out more than $4 million in grants to associates in need.

Rothschild serves on the American Hotel and Lodging Association (AHLA) Educational Institute Foundation Board; the Executive Board of the University of New Hampshire Peter T. Paul College of Business and Economics; the Hospitality Board of Governors for College of Merchandising, Hospitality and Tourism, University of North Texas; Women in Hospitality’s Forward Advisory committee, and AHLA’s Labor Relations and Human Resources committees.
She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Hospitality Management from the University of New Hampshire’s Whittemore School of Business.
