A native of Germany, Daniel Fuernrohr stumbled into his hospitality career after realizing that his business administration degree would not lead him on the adventurous journey he had planned. After serving time in the German Army, tending bar in Canada, working as a chef de rang at a Michelin Star restaurant in England, traveling through the Amazon with the Brazilian Army and spending a bit of time back home in Germany, Daniel ventured to Fairhope, Alabama to complete an international internship at the Grand Hotel. His thunderous personality and military work ethic gave him a competitive edge and he quickly advanced through the food and beverage ranks until settling in as Beverage Manager. He led the department for eight years and was the trailblazer responsible for developing the beverage program into one worthy of Autograph status. In early 2021, Daniel stepped into the role of Director of Event Operations where he continues to lead and mentor his team with a fiery passion.
